It's alright, you get good price for bird seed. The place could be better for keeping bird.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE BIRDS HERE! This place needs to be shut down!
My partner and I came here to look at their birds and the first birds you see are their favoured parrots that are stuck in filthy small cages! Little did we know it was only going to get worse, we walked around the corner where signs were placed on every wall "no photos" and what we seen was horrific, birds living in their own filth some looked wounded and some looked extremely ill!
I wish I could un see the dead bird in the back cage!
There were also wild caught cockatoos in tiny cages at the front for sale.
As we were walking into this place, I was warned not to trip over a piece of string with my two year old son that was running from the entrance through the car park and when we asked why it was there we were told by the lady that "works" her it's used to trap wild sparrows and the guy sells them for snake food!
    I'm disgusted.
Do not give these people your money at all!

The cockatoos and other large birds were in the very very small cages and looked miserable. I saw a canary with a clearly impared wing and birds with their heads tucked beneath their wing on the floor of the cage and in the feeding containers not moving. All the birds looked sad and many appeared unwell. Poor environment.

DO NOT BUY BIRDS FROM HERE THEY ARE BEAK AND FEATHER POSITIVE!!! THERE IS NO CURE AND HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS! THIS place needs to be shut down! They have no idea how to actually provide proper welfare for their birds at all! They hardly comply with the code of practice. Cockatoos and Galahs freshly caught from the wild are placed for sale 50 a piece and sold as semi hand tame. RSPCA are constantly attending this property due to the number of complaints also

About 5 years ago I bought one budgie, and then I felt sorry that he had no friends so bought another from there.

The first problem was the birds developed scaly face (which I believe was contracted from other birds here as I had no others birds at home besides my budgies). I took them back and they treated them (which was nice but they had the treatment on them which was a bit worrying - had others been treated there I don't know?)

Secondly, I took my bird back because his breathing seemed funny. The guy grabbed him, and moved him in his hand up and down and said he had asthma -.- I don't believe birds can have asthma (neither did the vet I asked)

They had an early case of psittacosis at a young age. Then recently, they re-contracted it. The vet believes it has been a lifelong thing and that the 'asthma' they believed was the problem was actually psittacosis. The second budgie I bought became ill following the treatment (and fell off his perch and broke his neck). He passed away. I have one left and another a friend gave me both are currently being treated for psittacosis again. And have recently gotten worse during treatment :(

I want everyone to know of this place and maybe someone will do something to check on how well they care for the birds here.
