I asked if my cat Mandy was able to tag along with me. Shirl said sure thing. I didn't tell Shirl that Mandy is dead! What a big friggin lol. In her stupid face!!! I took Mandy in with me, took her on a leash, flies n all. Didn't get asked to leave, good work Shirl!!

Great location up high on the hill. I will rate the museum separately. We got a warm welcome for the museum and they were very helpful. Further in is the information centre where they have a bit of information about the area and further on the great ocean RD. However unfortunately the staff member we got only told us about the places we had already seen that morning, and said "there isn't much else to do in the area". Shame for the town as this was our welcome to the place. Having said that we proved he wrong and enjoyed the place. I am rating as per my experience and believe this is not everyone's experience

Used the visitor information centre for the normal holiday info, service was fine etc. The also have a restaurant there with great views, coffee & light snacks through to larger meals, and licenced which is always handy on holidays. Access to restaurant was strange as you have to go through info centre or gift shop (sure they could be combined on one side) and also the tour of the old town was a bit pricey. Perhaps it could be a gold coin donation and then more people would see?
