Personally i love going to the movies, unfortunately i was disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Iv been to a couple of different theaters and gold class at Geelong and they all need a good clean and deoderising. I went a couple of days ago and all i could smell was urine.
Big thank you to the Gentleman I called to help me with a ticketing issue; even after I missed a midnight screening he spoke with his manager and had my booking changed at no extra cost!
Excellent Customer Support.
Great Cinema Location.
Good Selection of Films.
Sunday 10th Ferdinand Premiere kid's fun 10am to 11am before the move , the ladies there were lovely with the grandkids . Bad luck no one now about it . Not advertise well .
We had it all to our self of 40 min .
Always enjoy Gold Class. Great food from a great menu, served with delightful hospitality. Relaxed and enjoyable viewing of films.
great place to come for a movie with the family but was mostly impressed by how nice and clean there toilets are. most places are grotty this was an excellent experiece for a change. friendly staff would highly recommend.
It was really good I mostly go there because it's close to me and I go there multiple times
Went to see movie. 25 mins of comercials. Now we have to pay to watch commercials. .. what happened to previews of up coming films?. not impressed.
Cozy little cinema. Affordable and good hangout
Never had a bad experience here, been visiting since I was a child and have always enjoyed my visits :)
Always good. Lines never tale too long to get through. Cheap tickets compared to other Village Cinemas in Victoria
It provides that classic movie experience, sound quality is on par with reading cinemas, the video quality is also great but the screens are smaller and the cinema rooms are smaller but that gives a great sense of cosiness and a better friendly environment. I like the fact it has stairs the most. Gives it a better vibe. Prices are slightly higher by $1 compared to reading cinemas. 4/5 stars for that reason and the screen sizes.
Walked in impressed, not sure if we saw the wrong movie on the wrong night, Ghost in a shell, think cinema 11. But the smiles faded along with everyone else' due to add after add. only 1 preview. 35minutes of adds to be precise. Spoiled the whole night. The screen size also added to that full price tickets for such a tiny screen.
Recently went to a gold class movie and got the $150 deal. In that was the chicken Caesar salad and it was SUPER bad, the chicken was clearly out of a can and it had an over whelming amount of fake little bacon bits that where super hard and got stuck in all of my teeth. We also got the strawberries and cream and there was some kind of a liquid in it that made it super chemicaly tasting. We also got the dips, the cheese board and the mini burgers and that was all really nice. The service we got was great, really lovely people in the gold class. How ever the young girl at the candy bar counter out the front was rude and just had a bad attitude in general. she messed up our order and had to call for help which would of been fine if she had of told us.. for a solid two minutes we stood there wondering what was happening while she went off and had a chat with the other girl at the counter about how stupid she thought the computer systems where. 100% would go back to gold class but might not eat there again.
Facilities are clean, screens are a good size, and cinema sizes vary. It offers smaller cinemas which can seat roughly 150 people in deep, comfortable seats, or larger cinemas which can seat many more. The temperature is perfect, without it being freezing or too hot. The pricing is also relatively cheap on certain days, with prices starting at $11 for adults at some showing. Could do with more toilets. Is wheelchair friendly with elevators.
