Trific!
So quiet. Great staff. Clean facilities. Lots of birds and wildlife.
Peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to relax and enjoy. Well kept caravan park.
not sure if this place is good or bad judging from the reviews. Wary to stay here now if management swear at guests as per the review below
Great place. Has been brought back after cyclone Debbie. Managers have worked very hard to bring it back
We love to come here and spend a few day's to get away and its a lovely peaceful setting. The park managers are doing a wonderful job getting the park back to normal after cyclone Debbie. Well done.😊. Will definitely keep coming back..
The rudest caravan site i have ever been too. The manager was drunk yelled at backpackers and hogged the fire pit. The signs around the joint are unfathomable. Swearing at people when they have paid fot a service is disgusting. Do not stay here. Qld is large enough to camp free or elsewhere other than this place.
After paying $90.00 for 2 nights and our friends $110 (1 child) we were put on the worst sites in the park. We had to remove sticks and leaves off the cement slab (could only just see the slab) meanwhile during our stay the manicured sites near the amenities block were not let out at all ??? They looked very nice. One of the nights we could not use water as it was dark brown couldn't have a shower, the swimming pool looked lovely till close inspection was very dirty. Paid a lot less on our travels for so much better. Would not recommend.
Sept 2015 ..Soooo peaceful a hidden gem. Right on the beautiful beach, pet friendly and soooo quiet. Even has kangaroos hopping around.
Unfortunately most of these reviews are correct.husband and I stayed at this beautiful site for several months and found the managers to be very un-professional, abrupt, inebriated on occasion and down right rude! We kept to ourselves mostly as it is a beautiful park right on the water. People were evicted for minor indescretions, some had been coming for years. If you can put up with this, by all means stay, as it is a lovely park!
Sue and I have stayed at Midge Point for a few years now and have to say how delighted we are with the park and Cathy who runs the park. It is, in our opinion, the most relaxing and pleasant place to stay that we have come across in our travels and much of this is due to the friendly and welcoming approach of Cathy. Sure there are rules but unless you have rules there is chaos. I can only highly recommend this gem of a place if you want a peaceful, restful, relaxing place to stay. Barry & Sue
