Absolutely loved our stay at Thistle Hill. Management and especially Donna were very accommodating and went above and beyond to accommodate our every request. The property is very well maintained and would highly recommend the property to friends and family. We wish we had longer there!

Had a fantastic experience at Thistle Hill Guest House, got there on a Friday night and Donna had a delicious pizza waiting for us in our room with a bottle of wine, just what we needed after a 2.5hr drive! Donna and Stuart were so lovely, warm and welcoming! And very attentive! The rooms were very nice, clean and cosy, and just beautiful views, we had a great time and will definitely be returning to Thistle Hill Guest House, highly recommended.

Just back from a great weekend away with my gorgeous wife Annette.We stayed here for 2 nights which is what seemed to be the hottest weekend in history. Donna and Stuart are very friendly and great to have a chat and laugh with, and there hospitality was first class.We arrived and Donna was there to greet us with a smile that would light up the sky.She showed us to our beautiful room which was nice and cool and showed us our complimentary bottle of chilled semillon which was their own label and i must say it tasted great and throughout the weekend i had finished off another 4 of them as they were great with the cheese and fruit that was also supplied by Donna .Also chocolate brownies were in our room the next day and were yummy. Breakfast was served each morning in a fantastic room near the pool and everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. If i could give Thistle Hill 6 stars i would in a heartbeat.Thank you so much Donna and Stuart,
PS. Donna can you tell stuart from Dave to stop working for one minute and get his backside in the pool xx.

Recommend Thistle Hill 100%!! Such a beautiful setting, rooms are lovely and comfortable. And the hosts Donna and Stuart are the nicest people! Breakfast in the morning 👌🏼👍🏻👏🏻 lovely fresh food. Had a bottle of their own wine and a cheese board waiting for us on our first evening and brownies the next!

Thistle Hill was amazing. Donna was so accommodating as a couple of us had dietary requirements. Donna cooked for us and made us feel at home. The accommodation and grounds were lovely and the breakfasts were wonderful.

It was the perfect getaway. Our room was beautiful. The whole experience was just perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The owners go above and beyond what I expected. Very grateful for such a wonderful weekend. Will definitely visit again.
