Great bar atmosphere, but get in early because all the seating goes so quickly!
Nice ambience and good price for good selection of tap beer
Really excellent staff /service. Good beer options
Went there on a work trip a couple of years ago and enjoyed a great paella. Went again tonight and had he most amazing buffalo ricotta gnocchi. Great service too.
Good bar food and drinks. Quite loud when busy.
Relaxed venue but the wait time at the bar was far too long. When it takes longer to order a drink than it does to slowly drink it, a venue needs to reconsider how it's bar operates.
Our dinner last night was absolutely amazing! We received quality service that you just don't see anymore, the atmosphere was great & the foodwow. I awoke this morning still thinking about the flavours on my plate!
Nice bar, but nothing different here to most of the bars in the CBD. Had finger food which was quite good. Friday night had a steady crowd throughout the night. Good fun. Probably needed a couple more bar staff when it was busy.
Wow! Super good. Good amazing and service great 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The Stables is a city wide firm favourite on a Friday night. Situated in the heart of the city inside a block of buildings it provides you with a small slice of history and an upmarket trendy bar. With two bars and a good range of beers and wines you won't be struggling to choose a beverage here.
It attracts an upmarket class of people and the prices reflect that. The food has always been OK, but I've only ever eaten here drunk so I can't be the best judge! The venue does hire out certainly. Areas for functions so it's well worth checking and booking in as it seems to be busy most of the time. On a warm summer day it's great to pop in here at lunch, grab a table in the sun an enjoy a very relaxing cold beer!
Very over priced for what you get, very trendy if that's what you like then be prepared to pay for it. They actually don't do pints of beer, but still charge pint prices. Definitely won't be rushing back.
Nice place to grab a cold beverage and a bite to eat. Plenty of cool seating out of the summer heat, but I haven't been there in winter.
Tucked away and quiet, and from what I've seen, usually a good crowd.
This is a standard stop on a Nerdy day out in the city with friends, as it's close to a little place called Tokyo Underground, and far enough from the malls that you're thirsty when you get there.
Note to the bartender I had: Even if White Rabbit White Ale tastes good with a slice of orange, please ask if I want to try before just putting it in there!
Amazing food. The historic building would be enough to visit but there are many features to keep you there. Great service. Chillaxing outdoor areas. Cool happening bar with upstairs and downstairs.
