A local piece of history in Mornington. Wide menu choice of simpler fare. Good coffee and friendly staff. Plenty of free parking. Excellent for a break during shopping.

We stopped here for lunch and had an excellent meal, both of us my fish and chips - $18 - was super fresh and very light and non greasy. The chips were crispy and nice! The other meal was the chicken and coconut curry with nan and rice and it too was very yummy! They use bonsoy soy milk for coffees which is always a sign of a quality venue.
Worth a visit for a nice lunch and friendly staff!

Love lactose free options. Not many food options I can have, sadly. Service always great even though it's typically packed to the rafters here.

We arrived and thought we would stop and have a coffee or something to eat. We got told by one of the staff that the kitchen had close which is fair enuff, and that they were still serving fries, and still doing coffee. The girl show us to our table we waited and waited it was then 25mins and still no one came over to take our order , mind you they were still welcoming more people in to sit down.we ended up walking out. Staff unhelpful and this cafe now has an ego trip. I used to enjoy coming to this cafe when it was located on the corner and the staff we're great since moving I don't know what's happen bad atomosphere won't be returning.

Great food, great service, and most importantly, great coffee! A taste of the Melbourne café on the Peninsula.

Great and affordable coffee. The place looks nice and has a certain warmth about it. The staff are friendly and greet you with a warm welcome.

    4.5 STARS FOR FOOD!!!!!!!

My partner and I popped in for late lunch today. Wasn't overly busy. Seated ourselves and had 5 seconds with the menu before (front of house host maybe?) Dressed different from the rest asked us what we wanted for lunch. Took our coffee order and when I asked for more time she was rather rude. Had to ask twice for water I asked for a strong latte. It came to me tasting watery, far from hot and it had a horrid taste. Couldn't finish it. We let the staff know and they were passing it on. We had the burgers and they where great. Everything so fresh and it was refreshing to see a burger with a mustard sauce rather than relish.

The food was average at best, over priced. The staff were nice, I got a chunky slow cooked beef Poe. It was mostly mince meat with some onion that contained 3 pieces of a beef chunk that was slow cooked no larger than half the size of my fork. I've had better Pies from a servo where I expect mince meat it was almost completely flavourless. My partner ordered the salt and pepper squid which came out with 5 pieces of squid The portion size with the price paid was pitiful

New location in the middle of the car park. Still great coffee & friendly staff. Would be great if it was open a little longer.

Burger and tortellini were excellent. Iced coffee had very little ice cream. Speedy efficient service. Will return.
