This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but the quality has gone downhill under the new management. The pork belly was inedible.

This used to be my favourite place. Now it's my least favourite. Textbook how to ruin a successful business.

Portion size is small for the price. However the food is pretty good. Might come once or twice a year at most. Not my fave place but not the worst. Staff are friendly.

What's worse than your favourite restaurant burning down? New management who butcher almost everything that was once great about this place.

Took my in-laws out to our favourite restaurant only to find out that it had been taken over by new management.

    Negatives:
    - Higher prices (over priced now)
    - Smaller portions
    - Signature classics such at the brussel sprouts and dirty potatoes have been murdered (different recipe and smaller portions)
    - The food in general is nowhere near the quality it once was
    - No more complementary fresh bread with 'to die for' fennel butter

    Positives:
    - Service is still pretty good
    - Ambiance remains unpretentious

    RIP Old Crow (the original).

If anyone can tell me where the original chefs and management have moved to, I’ll be taking my business there.

The flavours of our dishes were nice but not spectacular, we could have done better at home. For starters, the vegetable pakoras were tasty but very oily and were served on a bed of coleslaw which was a strange picture. As a sweet chilli connoisseur I was a left a little disappointed by a sugar syrup infused with bits of chilli. The slow cooked beef cheeks were a legacy of the old-Old Crow days and captured its spirit but the presentation was amateur and nothing like its predecessor. Get the chef to look at the old pictures on social media and try to replicate that. The chocolate fondant dessert was sold as the greatest dish on earth but in reality it was simply a nicely baked cake. The service was awkward with the host trying to be funny and they were guilty of my biggest pet hate, which is staff attempting to remember my order then get it wrong. Just use a notepad. We were also talked out of the spatchcock (special of the day) by one staff member and another told us the dessert needed more icecream. I would assume with some training the kind nature of the staff would flourish in what is now an attempt to be a fine-dining restaurant. If it wasn't for the price I would have given 3 stars but The Old Crow is now impersonating an amazing restaurant and trying to be something it is not.

I've never left a review before but feel I should this time. Utterly tasteless and horrible food. Something has changed here since we last visited. Possibly the worst, most bland food we have eaten in Perth. My biggest regret was actually paying for the experience, rather than insisting on not.

    Avoid

Terrible and overpriced. Food was well presented but the price you pay they were so small. There was so much salt on the food it's all you could taste. The food came out at different times, which is not good when 4 people are eating. Some of our food got sent to another table and was sent back to the kitchen and sides taken by the staff when they weren't even finished. It's a shame as it wasn't even busy either. Will not be returning anytime soon.

I wrote a review on their Facebook and a member of staff through their personal page, replied to me and lectured me on how I didn't know the difference between salt and herbs....in German!!! With a the little German I know and google translate I thought that was cheeky.

If you go here you must try the brussels sprouts are the best thing on the menu - never thought i'd say that.
