My boyfriend has been learning here for about a year. Even though online teaching is difficult to get through but he has a passion for this.
He booked a class this Monday and the teacher never showed up. He waited for about 15mins and emailed plus texted the teacher to ask what’s going on. Literally zero reply. AFTER the class time finished, music gym just sent an email telling him that the class was canceled.
Zero respect to people’s schedules and Zero communication. By far still no reason stated for that and the teacher just vanished.
Have taken vocal group classes for 4 weeks now and am enjoying it so immensely.
I have no musical training and the instructors make me feel comfortable and confident.
All staff I have crossed paths with are very pleasant and friendly.
I highly recommend giving a class a try.
I've attended both Lorenzo's and Del's guitar lessons over the last couple of months and feel I've made really noticeable progress, not only as a player but also I now (finally!) understand some musical theory thanks to these excellent teachers. The lessons are fun and a great way to spend a lunch hour.
I’ve been taking Beginner Piano sessions at The Music Gym and I’m really enjoying the experience. I’ve been taught by Thom, Hayley, Rob and Bella, and they’ve all been really great. Each instructor has brought different styles of teaching, and have focused on different elements to my learning, which I felt brought together a well-rounded learning experience. Their patience and smiles completes the package. Highly recommend!
I have been going to lessons for a few weeks now and it is a great way to learn. They have you playing songs each lesson to keep you motivated while they teach you the more advanced stuff as well. The facilities and equipment are great and the coaches are really patient even with the musically challenged like me. It's a music school for adults and a really comfortable way to learn something I have always wanted to do with people who are at the same level as me.
