It’s great Mexican food, honestly the best sangria I’ve ever had! I just wish the kept the old hard shell tacos from before - they were amazing!

Recommended by a local, this is a very busy restaurant. We booked and came back 20 minutes later. Ordered the food but there was a long wait for its delivery. Tacos were nither had or soft, mid was between. The Burrito was better, a very large portion. Took this away for breakfast.

So good we ate here 2 nights in a row! (Didn't want miss out before we left Port Douglas.

Me and my husband went down to the Mexican, they were very busy but the lovely lady organised a table for us straight away. The food was really nice and fresh! We even liked the kangaroo so much that we ordered a second serving after finishing our food. Great service and great food, we will be back for sure!

Wonderful food and great service. Best food experience we have had in Port Douglas so far and will try to find time to visit again before we go. Vegetarian offerings were clever and tasty, meat dishes were equally as delish 😀

Solid Mexican fare. Service was great. Family friendly. Good choices. Points off only for the liquid cheese on the nachos. Some people love this stuff but nothing beats real melted cheese. Thanks for a good feed amigos!

While we were there we thought it was great, thought the food was good and the atmosphere that was until my partner work up in the middle of the night extremely sick from food poisoning ruining the one weekend we were up here for a quick little getaway. We weren't able to leave our apartment until we had to drive to cairns to catch our flight home. I've never seen him this bad in the decade we've been together. I can also pin point what it was because we ate all the same food except for one taco it was the beef taco. Beware!

Awesome food and atmosphere! Staff are super quick and helpful. Get in early in the evening or book ahead because the wait can get large!

This is a fantastic Mexican spot. If you you often partake in Mexican, skip the hot sauces they provide, its basically salsa in a bottle. Thankfully they have a shelf of lovely hot sauces, start on the opposite side from the bottles with skulls on them and work your way down.
Food comes out fast, tacos are lovely and fresh. Margaritas are punchy but have a pleasant flavour.response / report this review -

Myself and my partner walked by this place multiple times over our holiday and it was always full of people, when we finally decided to stop and eat here we were not disappointed. The food was fresh, and tasty and the price was great!

Don't let this place fool you from the outside, it was some of the best, freshest Mexican food we've had in a long time. The ratings were good, but I was a little sceptical judging the place by first impressions.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I had the nachos and I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly it was probably the tastiest nachos I've ever had. The food pays homage to traditional Mexican flavours with a modern twist. My partner had two tacos and they were equally as fresh and delicious.
My only complaint would be the opening hours, we had to plan our day around the 2pm opening time which was frustrating at the time, but well worth it in the end.
If you're considering this establishment, I could not recommended it more highly.response / report this review
