Nice cafe in a great location. Food and coffee is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a gluten free option for the sandwiches however it is just 2 small pieces of bread that replaces the large pieces of ciabatta. The cafe is a little small so best come when it's is not too busy.
It's a nice looking Cafe, with a nice feel about it. However, I felt the place was a little squashed. We came for a few coffees and sat inside. It was way too noisy and everything felt rushed. I wouldn't recommend the place for families with young children as there are heaps of alternative options available in Port Douglas. Probably more suitable for couples. Can't comment on the food.
Great food and coffee. We sat outside under stairs the initial service was good. Really friendly, however no up sell on the second coffees during or after meals.
Great little cafe on the main strip- always busy but service is friendly and prompt. Delicious variety of meals from classic eggs to tacos and waffles. Pretty good Toby’s Estate coffee too.
Busy little venue. I had the crab baguette and it was very good. They do kids sandwiches too that weren't on the menu. I think they cost about $6.
Amazing food and atmosphere! Cozy cafe, great service, quick and delicious breakfast! Lattes, banana smoothie, waffles (oh the vanilla bean creme on them was spot on) and "the onsie" were wonderful! Highly recommend!
We LOVE The Little Larder. We are from Melbourne and this is our favourite cafe in the world. Staff are wonderful, food is orgasmic (try the local donuts!) and the coffeeugh, they never miss a beat. Thank you Luke and Tanee for always remembering us and making us feel at home.
Wow, first day for breakfast in Port Douglas and was very impressed with the Poached Ocean Trout. Great mushroom dish too! 5 mornings left and I'm not sure any other breakfast will beat this!
Limited selection so make sure you check the menu beforehand. However, I very much enjoyed the Buddha Bowl and hot chocolate I ordered. Great quality food and fresh ingredients. Sandwiches looked great.
Agreeable food and service, nothing spectacular.
The food was amazing!! We had brunch on a Friday morning and to be honest it is the best brunch ive had in Australia since I got here a week ago, including expensive places in Melbourne super high rated.
The prices are great, the food is great and the service couldn't be better!
We had to get up and leave after the way we were treated by the Irish waitress there
1. We sat down in one of the communal tables and spoke with the girls sitting there already, whether the seats were taken, which they weren't. Waitress told us to move as they were expecting 2 more people (table seats 6 easily and comfortably) which was a fair enough assessment from the waitressBUT
2. The blackboard had a NOT AVAILABLE sign over the breakfast menu (10:15am here) so we asked another passing waitress whether it was still available, her response was "I've got 10 other things to do, yes I will bring you your menu in a bit!" And finally
3. She brought the menu and didn't have the courtesy of handing it over, she threw it and left
Fantastic place. Ordered the Reuben sandwich and iced latte and they were great. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and lunch menus are solid. Highly recommended.
Superb coffee. Talented baristas using Toby's Estate beans. They have some really nice cakes and a great breakfast & lunch menu. Nice view overlooking the Main Street. You won't be disappointed :))
