Fun bar with affordable booze which is important amirite? They also have Cane Toad racing at 8pm which is highly entertaining. Highly recommend going to check that out. Overall fun times and a good party bar.

We ordered the Shank Steak and Chicken Scampi which we’re both tasty and appropriately priced. Nothing super special but we weren’t expecting that either.

The Cane Toad racing was the highlight for me. The way it works is you buy a ticket for $5. They have 2 races and the first one is based off of a raffle with your ticket. The first race is purely a “trial” run or a prequalified before the 2nd race. Once you see the results from the first round the host then conducts a bid to see who wants to buy the Cane Toad for the second race. The host is the true Starr of the show though offering great comedic relief and the type of Aussie humor you’d expect. I won’t offer details on the rest as it is pure entertainment. It’s a well spent $5 for the raffle/admission.

Went here after a wedding. We rocked up at about 10:30 on a Thursday and it was pretty dead. But before long the place was full of South American backpackers. The DJ was pumping out some South American tunes and the dance floor was packed. Can't speak about the cane toad races but Thursday nights are worth a visit.

Dissapointing and expensive for what we received.
Coconut crumbed fish did not taste at all like coconut and the portion sizes of fish we were served was a kids size portion.
Bacon wasn't cooked properly on the burger either.

Meals were very hit-and-miss. Pork belly was tough and rubbery without a hint of crunch in the crackle, potatoes underdone on both pork belly and mackerel, but the mackerel was thankfully tasty. Kid's meals were the usual uninspired "option with chips" variety, or mac & cheese. Definitely overpriced for what was served.
Oh, and desserts took an age and a reminder to appear despite being ordered with our mains.
    Staff were nice tho.

Absolutely rubbish, overcooked, dry and inedible meals, and even when they acknowledged the poor food quality they still charged the 8 of us full price. NEVER GOING BACK, should be ZERO stars, one restaurant to AVOID, much better options in Port Douglas (disgruntled local)
