An otherwise great store has been severely let down by the call centre and the service staff.
My first mistake was buying one of their own brand appliances (in this case a dishwasher)
This GVA leaked after 12 months and completely broke down after 2 years.
In an attempt to get a service I was passed from pillar to post by staff that were varyING combinations of dismissive, rude and incompetent.
When I did finally get to speak with someone in the “correct department “ I was informed that the only people who can service GVA is GVA (a little nugget of information that was not forthcoming when I was buying it) and that I had to call yet another number GVA direct. However I had already tried this and was put on hold and as “good guys” music was playing it was assumed I was talking to Good Guys again.
But when I did get onto someone my name wasn’t good enough I had to have the docket number on hand in order to get service. The whole thing was disappointing, distrupive and left a bad taste in my mouth and has resulted in my buying a “proper” branded device from someone else.
Moral is never ever ever buy GVA branded equipment. It will likely be dead in 2 years and you will be at the hands of Good Guys service department if you want it fixed. God help you.response / report this review -

Friendly service, wide range of products including kitchen and home theater. If you end up with defective goods they will refund or replace.

Paid extra for concierge service, wouldnt even honor manufacturer warranty. Went direct to manufacturer, explained issue and supplied photos and they said it was a faulty product and replaced. Used to buy a lot through this chain, but after this and an issue at their belconen store with staff telling porkies about cashbacks not using them anymore. Whole business culture has become focused on predatory upselling of empty promises.
