At The Fine Old Timber Company we make customised, solid, recycled timber furniture made from timbers salvaged from historic buildings in the city of London and surrounds. We can also use local native timbers.
Every part of our manufacturing process is done here by hand, not unpacked from a container and screwed together like some "Australian made" products.
As we only have 3 employees, please keep in mind that manufacturing your piece is going to take time. It's not pre-made bits of wood, screwed and glued together in a day. We start with old roof beams with nails still in them.
We are a workshop that is open to the public. It's not fancy. It's noisy and dusty and we probably wont hear the phone ring, but if you leave a message we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We are open Monday to Friday and by appointment only on Saturday.
