When someone in the family has a problem with drugs or alcohol it places strain on the relationships within that family and often leads to conflict and anxiety about the future. Sometimes people feel very isolated and unsure of what approaches to take to improve the situation,
The Cyrene Centre provides information and services including confidential counselling, to support families in responding to drug use issues.
These services are tailored to meet the needs of family members living with a drug user whether they be parents/guardians, siblings, spouses or children.
Staff at the Centre pay particular care to respect the many community cultures which make up our society. Every effort is made to use the language spoken by those seeking its services and to, take account of what they value in their culture.
