  Well we have been here before and had great food, not this week though. The chicken was NQR. The coleslaw was watery and not very nice. The pasta salad was really good. Must've been having a bad day l feel. Disappointed basically. Will have to think hard before going back.

  Was quiet when we visited service was fast and friendly. Chips were delicious as was the lemon rice and Aloo Gobi. Lovely food will definitely visit again.

  Been coming here for years and it is slowly deteriorating with quality of coffee, food and cleanliness. There are other places to visit that offer better atmosphere

  Really tasty chips! However just got charged $1 for a small tomato sauce packet. Seems either way too expensive, or the staff member charged incorrectly?
  I’d usually have given this place 4 or 5 stars, but getting charged 5 x the price as somewhere else is pretty ridiculous
  Thanks for the tasty chips though, will be going to the fish and chip shop nearby next time

  The chicken and chips side of the take away is consistently good, but steer clear of the Indian. It's horrible. Watery, flavourless, strangely textured meat in the curries. Dry tandoori chicken, butter chicken in a horribly sweet tomato sauce. Oily samosas and the worst cucumber raita I have ever had. Lumpy, watery and really awful. Second time we have given the Indian a go as we want to support a local Indian take away but just not worth it. Stick to the chicken and chips and hamburgers.

  Always friendly service coupled with a vast and varied menu.
  
  The food is always excellent.
  
  Even the chips and gravy is fantastic.
  
  They do awesome curries along with burgers, wraps, chicken dinners, salads and so on.
  
  My favourite eatery in Emerald.
  
  Keep up the great work Chookery Cafe :) 👍
