  The garden bar is just that - a bar in a garden which is relaxing conducive to having a couple of drinks and a bite to eat with good friends. Highly recommend this place!

  Don't buy the caesar salad unless you basically just want a bowl of lettuce with an egg......no crutons...couple of specks of cheese and a sprinkle of bacon! Very dissapointing!

  Possibly the worst pub I’ve been to. Meals are different every time I go there. It’s almost as if they have run out of food and just throw stuff together. I’ve had surf n turf 3 time and each time it changes and gets progressively worse. I’m not one to leave a review usually but because of a power outage I came down to watch the footy finals and have a meal along with a few brews. I asked if I could have the sound on the tv put on and the answer was no. Only in the sporty bar. I explained the sports bar was packed and there was no where to eat and I was the only one in the beer garden so why not. The staff were really rude about it except for one girl. Never again I’ll go to the Henley brook from now on.

  Came for a quick Sunday lunch in the restaurant. Only one of the specials- Sunday roast was on a flyer , the other was offered verbally as pork ribs with salad and chips- which we ordered. $35...Food was quick w/o the salad. We were told that it was separate & we had to order it. $6. Didn't order drinks - waitress wasn't impressed that we didn't ??? Requested only water. Food was good - except that salad was old & had started to go off at the bottom of the bowl & were not offered finger bowls or extra napkins to wipe fingers. When paying the bill- didn't asked how our meal was .... won't be going back with this attitude or food service.

  Food quality and service has dropped hugely. It's no where near as good as it was. My meal was rubbish, my mates "medium rare" steak came out well done plus he was charged an extra $3 to have the sauce on the side which ended up being practically water which he then didn't eat. Terrible meals. Never enough staff to deal with the demand at the bars. If it wasn't the only pub in the area, no one would go.

  Acceptable range of items, relatively big menu. Huge assortment of alcoholic beverages, and quite a few non-alcoholic beverages too. Serves about five different mocktails which are absolutely delicious.
  
  Ive never had a bad meal here. Hot food comes out hot, cold drinks come out cold. The portions are always huge, sometimes I'll only order a side so I can actually finish the meal, but even those can be pretty big. This would be why prices are a little bit expensive, but you certainly get what you paid for and a little bit more.
  
  The atmosphere in each section of the restaurant is good. There's a beer garden with a smoking and non-smoking area, a sports bar, and a dine-in area which actually looks like a restaurant. The inside area is cosy, if it's cold they'll turn on the fireplace. If you want to dine there, it's best to make a reservation, although they can sometimes fit you in. I've never been in the sports bar. The beer garden is my favourite, it's clean, looks pretty, and doesn't require a reservation. You walk in, find a free table, and go up to the order at the bar when you're ready. They'll give you a table number, and a buzzer if you ordered a cocktail.
  
  There are male and female toilets, and a breathalyzer outside of the sports bar door which is pretty handy.

  Worst meal/service I have had in a very long time.....
  We Were only asked once for drinks in the 2 hours we where there.....Meals took forever to come out kids were starving... and then when they did finally come out I bacially got a bag of rocket on a plate!!
  Rude staff and quite condescending ....would not recommmed at all ....save your money and find somewhere else to go.

  First and LAST! time going there.
  It was a birthday celebration with 10 people.
  Made a 6.15 booking which we arrived on time. We were seated and it seemed to be going well, we put in our order for drinks and meals by 6.35. It started going south when I had to bring to their attention that we had been waiting 20 minutes and still hadn't even been given our drinks.
  Amazingly after complaining we had drinks within 5 minutes. Funny that!
  I had noticed 2 more lots of people had arrived around 6.45 and were seated near by. It was now going on an hour since we arrived and I noticed both parties who arrived after us had all their meals served so once again I felt I needed to bring this to their attention.
  Besides the meals now being very late we hadn't even been asked if we would like another drink or even if everything was ok.
  
  So in short it was a terrible night out with little to no reason for such scuzzy service. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting to have any kind of fun on their night out.
  Had better experiences at the $2 buck shop with stale lollies

  Fabulous manager so welcoming. It was our first time there and we felt like locals. The surf n turf was out standing, this is my husbands favourite meal. He said it was the best ever, my fish n chips were really nice. The atmosphere was friendly and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place.
