The best thing about this restaurant are service and the food. The cozy of the Japanese inspired ambiance makes your feel you are in Japan. And I say service because their staff really makes you feel very comfortable with big smile in their faces. And the food "yummy!", I cant wait to come Back.

Amazing Food!! Booked 6 months in advance for a celebratory dinner and it was absolutely worth it, very special place to dine. The service was impeccable with extremely polite and friendly staff who knew more than you could even imagine about the food and wine. Defiantly a must visit!

Delicious food! Booked way in advance but totally worth it. And we were full too! Every dish was amazing!! The service impeccable. Polite friendly staff who knew their stuff! We even got a complimentary chocolate bday cake. It was so good!! It’s worth entering your bday event at time of booking for the cake!

Had a 10 course degustation menu here. Scallop like Oysters appetizer was memorable as it was creative and original. Had a very nice salmon with kombu or seaweed seasonings on top. Tuna was wonderful. Dessert was refreshing. Overall, such a fine dining place focused on Japanese flavor and techniques that bring such clarity in flavor. I left satisfied feeling that my palate was so clean due to the subtle yet elegant flavors.

This is a restaurant that is great for a special event with the ladies, but the food is rather mediocre. To put it another way, the portions are tiny and un-memorable, not to mention we ended up at Hungry Jacks later that night to fill our stomachs. If you are a man, best to eat before you go here on a date.

My new favourite restaurant. A truly wonderful dining experience. Great atmosphere, stunning food and attentive staff. I can recommend the regular menu and the vegetarian option. Worth every cent.

Excellent food and excellent service! The staff were very accommodating of allergies and made a point to acknowledge my partners birthday.

Our server/sommelier was very knowledgeable about both food and wine. We tried both wine flights between us and found it varied as to which wine is best with each course.

The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side but well worth the expense!

Awesome food. Atmosphere formal, but at some point some people were still looking at their phones or taking pictures of their food. Delicious; perfect amount of food. Right on that line between being friendly / welcoming and intimidating. Out of my price range but I was a guest.

It's pricey, but the food, service and wine pairings are generous and faultless.

    Food:
This has varied considerably each time I have been - the menu appears to be adjusted daily by what ingredients are freshly available.

There is always a fixed menu of a number of courses usually involving about half seafood, a third red meat and two or three desert courses. The cuisine is a mix of French and Japanese - and never overly heavy.

The signature dish of ocean trout is absolutely delicious and superbly blends flavours and textures.

    Drinks:
The paired wine flights are well matched, and extremely generous on the servings. Expect around ten full glasses of fantastic wine, or if you choose to order off the menu they have a fantastic wide selection of drinks.

The somolier is knowledgeable and makes perfect recommendations.

    Cost:
You can expect to pay around $300/head with drinks - however it rivals and exceeds many other high profile venues that get away with significantly higher prices. For the quality of the experience, it is actually underpriced.

Exceptional food, staff, wine and decor. Usually with a wine paring for an elaborate, multi-course meal, you get about 1/4 pours. Here you get full glasses with each course. Be wary of this because after 10 courses you get very sloshed. You may struggle to get that last glass of port down.
The food it well made and well presented and the portion sizes are quite sizable. Enough for you to take a few bites, which is especially rewarding if you find the course extra tasty.
Don't miss the trout, which I believe is served on the menu each day and the oysters are delicious, although quite expensive.
