Young guy we spoke to was nice but unhelpful, at no fault of his own. Unless you want to buy a phone, then they really can't help with your bills or foxtel, especially with the new changes about to happen. He even said, if you've got 2-3hrs spare, give them a call & have them sort it out.
Plenty of staff standing around but apparently a 45 minute wait for service. Not interested in serving customers but happy to stand around. I counted five staff standing around and talking to each other and chatting with female customers, clearly there is no one effectively managing this team for what was a 30 second task.
I have been visiting the Pacific Fair store for many years (for both personal and business) and overall have been pleased with the customer service. One of my professional 'hats' is customer service consulting/training. The service at Pacific Fair (a Telstra Corporate store) has been much better than most other stores and I recommend the Pacific Fair store to friends & business contacts.
I have been helped by Ray - excellent customer service, personable, friendly and efficient.
Telstra is the best network, so why bother with Optus or similar?
Just went in to the Pacific Fair store with my Wife and 8 year old son, waited in line and was spoken too with such arrogance where a team member, kept on asking have you looked on line at our packaged, i said that we have and and we have to decide what will suit our needs and he assumed we were going to join Telstra with an attitude ,said let's see if you can sell me your packages, he said I don't have to sell you anything. We wanted to move our 4 mobiles to Telstra and buy 4 new phones. But this turned off our buying experience , we will never enter that shop again.
Well for almost 2 weeks now I've tried ringing. At least they are getting creative with their boggess reasons. Message for the last 10 days is they are "having an emergency".for 10 days at least?? Now you just get cut off after 3 rings. The irony of Australia's largest communications company having the worst communication is astounding.
