The worst place we booked in Australia during our time there. We felt very disappointed to find a the kitchen with plastic cutlery, no glassware (except 3 wine glasses) no teas, just Nescafe instant coffee dirt everywhere, cockroach and dirt in the bathroom - we exited the accommodation after 1 hour of arriving and were refunded our stay amount from the booking provider as they agreed the experience we had there was unsettling and not up to standard. The staff were rushed, uncaring and scruffy. Very misleading accommodation - with a room refresh; new management- this place is gem waiting to be seen, yet at it's current state - stale, dirty, misguided.

We usually stay at a hotel in Sydney, until we discovered this place. Conveniently close to all the tourist spots and restaurants, this old-world-done-up B&B is fantastic. We had the larger ground floor suite so no amazing views, but it had a bed for the little one, which was a huge plus. Included brekkie was delish. Really friendly personal owner. Thanks James, hope Mum & bubs are going well.

We stayed in the Philip Room which had a stunning view of the Opera House etc. No lifts, so be prepared to carry your luggage up - which fits with the heritage charm of the building and area. Breakfast in the morning was nice and convenient.

The B&B is run by a very nice couple. Absolutely top level of services and make you fee like back home. The house is a bit aged but the room is clean and neat. Shared bathroom is also very clean. Breakfast is good. They run the place with their hearts not just a business. Highly recommended. The entry (Blue door) is upstairs of Long Lane from Cumberland St, which is easy to miss, just need to pay attention to the sign.

Excellent host who truly enjoy doing what they do. Great hot and fresh breakfasts and very clean.lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants all within close easy walking distance.

What a great place. Awesome everything. Except for some whinging guests who embarrass other guests. Owners handle everything fantastically and aresuper nice. Pity we see others take advantage. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal location blocks away from Central Quay, lots of nearby shops and restaurants, and great service. This was my first time, but for my traveling companions this was their third time staying here. I can see why - a new courtyard with freshly planted greens and new paver blocks, a tasty and filling breakfast and friendly staff (doesn't hurt that they are also the owners). Highly recommended - rooms are also clean with great views - I could see the opera house from my window.
