A long running family business in Torquay. Staff are friendly and their range of boards and wetsuits is amazing.

Purchased 3 boards plus other stuff. Spent more than $3,000. First board for my sons for Christmas. When my youngest took his board out of the transport bag, we saw a small light brown line near the nose. Thought it was normal (didn’t know so much about boards). But after two hours in the sea and drying in the sun, a crack appeared and extends seriously. I brought back to the shop. They decided that I was responsible and that it would have been the result of us dropping the board on the floor. What we did not. After discussing with the manager, they confirmed that it can be only us. Which is therefore the same than saying I am a liar. I even proposed them to take it back, cancel the margin on a new board and I would pay the difference as I wanted my son to get his new board. I know I should have looked at the board before taking them with us (they were already in the transport bag when we picked them). Even that, they refused. I went to the shop next to them (not the same brand of course), they purchased it back (minus repairs) and I purchased a brand new one. I lost money but I absolutely do not care. It has never been the subject. But I cannot accept to be treated as a liar and I will never purchase anything from them. So if you are a customer or look to become one, carefully inspect the goods before purchasing. Because a young salesman swearing he did not drop the board will be always more trusted than a customer.
