I rang them because of the first Ad I saw in Google. When electrician was doing work i was talking to him and he was listening to music while i was trying to asks questions and also to tell what other works needed to be done. Completely ignored my requests, bad service later on he called somebody and started laughing like crazy i was so worried about the electrical work he was doing. Indeed the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Steven Murphy electrical charged me a premium price and delivered bad workmanship and service, most of the time he was on the phone. Thanks for the $2200 Bill, will never call them again

These guys are great! We contacted them after losing power to our house one evening last week and two electricians showed up at our door at 7am the following morning to get straight onto the job for us. They were so professional and polite and a just real credit to the business. Within a few hours they'd found the fault, power was restored and life was good again!. Very impressed with the service received from start to finish and just want to say a big thanks to Steve & his team for making our a job a priority and for being so prompt!

We used Steven Murphy Electrical to install some outside lights. I wasn’t sure what was needed but their electrician Jake was very helpful and discussed options and on his advice I decided on bar lights and I couldn’t be happier, they were the perfect lights for the area. Jake and his TA were prompt in arriving, did the work efficiently, cleaned the area after they were finished. Jake went through the lights and their use with me and took his time to explain things as he went along. I will definitely use them again and was very impressed with their service.

Excellent job. Scoped, priced and installed CCTV camera system within a short timeframe. Managed expectations well and post installation service was great. No complaints.

The guys at Steven Murphy Electrical came to my home recently and they were great, I had my grandson with me and they were really great around him, being a 2 year old he was of course very inquisitive! Work was completed professionally and everything was cleaned up once the job was completed, great guys and great service, plus great price, would definitely recommend. Thanks Steven ☺

I was in the process of having the NBN connected at my house. The NBN technicians said they could not put my connection where I wanted it and to get a private contractor to do it. I rang Steven Murphy Electrical and they were able to send a very friendly electrician and apprentice the next day and were able to install a socket so I could place my modem exactly where I wanted it. They also advised me about upgrading my lights to LED and were able to do that work for me straight away! I will definitely be calling them back whenever I need any work done!

Thank you to the team at Steven Murphy Electrical, we had a unique piece of equipment installed that shorted our business out every time it started. After testing all possible reasons (the equipment included) they found the RCD's were not installed (this was from other electrical contractors). Thank fully the fix was quick an easy, saved us big money by reducing our downtime, the equipment runs perfectly. Thanks

WARNING! After engaging this company to replace the fan motor in our air-con unit we waited 6 weeks for the part to arrive somewhere from the east coast. The invoice at the completion of the job was disgusting, paying $70 p/hour for an apprentice and $140/hour for the electrician which what could be arguably not a 2 person job for the 62 minutes spent fixing the part. When we enquired on the reason for the wait, the company proceeded to charge an extra $50 for making the job urgent, some 4 weeks later, with no notice of this "extra charge" until the invoice appeared. Be careful and make sure you see a quote before you commit.

Our air conditioner died 2 days before Xmas and with two over 38 degree days we needed one installed urgently. They came out quickly and installed one Xmas eve. The installers were professional, clean and polite. We would recommend these guys to our family and friends.

Steven Murphy contractors came out to our property after hours as we had no power, they found the problem very quickly which was the pool pump. They came back during business hours at a lower hourly rate to replace it, which they supplied. A good competitive service and the contractors were polite and sincere. I don't normally write reviews but the previous ones didn't reflect my experience, I used them as they were recommended to me by another customer.

Good advice, prompt service, a bit dearer than quoted but not outlandish as we did have a bit more work to get done than originally thought. Only criticism was lack of care in tracking mud through house and garden plants shovelled. But overall guys were quite efficient and friendly.
