Specialising in traditional fermentation and smoking methods to create a true German style. The original recipe was brought to Australia as far back as the early settlers.
Steinys Traditional Mettwurst is created using a fermentation process similar to beer, wine and bread, which destroys bacteria but also, cures, creating a truly unique flavor. All Steiny’s Mettwurst are very high in protein, low in fat and gluten free.
Our products are best enjoyed as a snack food, great for lunch boxes, with a glass of wine or beer and enhance the European food dishes like pasta sauces, pizzas and platters.
