Jason and his team always look at research from a different angle and Jason's thought leadership pieces are not only insightful, but provocative and with a strong point of viewhe is also very prolific. In a world where plenty of organisations are churning out quantity (not quality) content, Jason is setting the bar high. Keep up the awesome work!

I enjoy being part of Square Holes focus groups. I like contributing and then seeing the outcomes of the group. I contributed to a group and then saw the ad only a few weeks later. I like listening to other people’s opinions as well. It is a well organized group. Very professional.

I love being a part of the Square Holes panels. It is a great opportunity to voice my opinion and hopefully add value to the campaign being discussed. The staff and facilitators are always friendly and engaging, bringing all panel members into the fold of discussions.

I love attending the Square Holes Focus Groups for many reasons. The topics are always relevant to the way we live our lives here in Adelaide and it is always interesting hearing other people's opinions, sometimes similar, sometimes a different point of view entirely. The groups are run very efficiently and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The fact you are paid to give your opinion on things of course is a big incentive to attend, as are the chocolates on the table to help you to 'keep going' through the discussion. But at the end of the day it is enjoyable being part of a group that is helping fine-tune how things are handled for the rest of the population. I recommend people to attend if they can.

Attending focus groups challenges one to think outside the square and examine issues that in my usual day to day activities I would not be confronted with. Sometimes at the commencement of discussion of a topic I can think that I already have a firm opinion, but by the end of a session I may have completely changed it. I have never attended one group that I haven't found stimulating and thought provoking, and there have been occasions when I have seen subsequent advertising or some other media coverage of issues that have been discussed which adds to the satisfaction of having attended the relative focus group.
The payment, whilst welcome, is definitely not the major consideration and to be honest, the opportunity to participate in an interesting discussion with a variety of people is well worth the effort regardless of any monetary reward.
