Food was great. Would have been a 5 star for just the food.. but the live music guy sounded like someone was strangling a cat. Interesting pink Mohawk, but his singing was far from as interesting. Lol. He did ask for requests, mine would have been to please not sing. :-\

    Great food though, always awesome.

Good food and atmosphere. Nice view out to the lake.
The club and fish and chips outside are worth visiting.

Ordered vegan mushroom risotto upstairs and was able to take downstairs to Snapper. Thank you, very accommodating

Quality eatery with nice views. The outdoor event space is only okay

Lovely Sunday lunch watching the sailing boats dodge each other on LBG. Food was good, perhaps even pretty damn good; service also good, but not great.

Excellent food. Service could be improved ever so slightly but overall great experience. Would come back again!

Pleasant lunch in quietish restaurant on a weekday - very busy on weekends. I probably would not have chosen the sound track but this is a club.
Good choice of meals. Meals quite large. But prices to match. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Good wine list.
Staff trying very hard give a fine dining experience in a club.
    Loverly views of the lake.
The bar also serves meals. Also good food.
Not exactly romantic but as a club quite acceptable.

Lovely outlook over the lake and affordable drinks. Comfy seats, but would be better if staff cleared tables rather than leaving empty glasses and used plates to clutter up space. Still, a nice place for a quiet drink.

A great place to chill out. There's a good lawn area with nice views of the lake and city and the little fish and chip shop does good food. Popular with families and groups alike.

Great fish and chips by the lake. Bring a picnic rug and settle down with the kids. Quick service. Not the best fish in Canberra, but still nice.

pretty good Aussie meal from the kitchen, good portion and reasonably priced(however just found out the staff charged me $21 for a caesar salad which priced $16 on the menu). View and location is golden, restaurant opens by 6:00pm but it is always good to start with Snapper On The Lake downstairs for a snack and sometime in the sun with black swans wondering next to you for any leftovers

A good spot to spend a sunny evening outside and have fish and chips by the lake. Bring a picnic blanket, sit on the grass and order some food.

The chips are excellent, the fish is pretty good, but the calamari is pretty ordinary.

I went to the Snapper Fish and Chips downstairs, which has good fish, but poor chips. Quite expensive too. Great location.
