Paid for my Uber to the CBD, kept to the quoted price even though they had to spend additional time with the car. Forgot to sign my log book though.

Another typicall dealership with terrible service! No wonder car owners are taking their car to mechanics that aren't apart of a corporation of nitwits

Has taken a while to write this review, but am glad I am in case it helps others out. Moved interstate with two VW vehicles that we have had for differing amounts of time. Took one car for routine service, aware new battery needed. Quoted large amount for battery and other parts - very expensive for us at the time after a big move. Told them we wouldn’t be able to afford such cost just now - voicemail left for me stating that the car could literally ‘blow up’ with my baby in the car (cue - trying to guilt the customer!!) if we didn’t have it done. Something felt off. Spoke with multiple other garages and a battery expert - who explained when a battery ‘blows up’ that it doesn’t blow up the whole car as I was scaremongered with. Found another garage to replace all required parts for ONE THIRD of the quoted VW cost - a garage with a large amount of 5* reviews (it turns out - they were worth the reviews too). When I turned up to pick up the car, there was lots of talking amounts staff. Eventually the manager came to say we had to pay for the battery because they cant start the car. I said, I know, because the battery is dead, and I need to jump start it. He said it wont even jump start I asked to be shown. Surprise surprise - it jump started. I drove it straight to the other garage and haven’t looked back. A rip off, poor customer service, and disgusting scaremongering of a young mother with a baby. Wish I could give less than one star. We have since traded in one car and will move the other to another car make - we will not be dealing with VW any further, which is a shame as we have had VW for 10 years. Hope one day they can sort out this money making excuse of a service centre.
