Good coffee, array of snacks (which are frequently vegan!) and cozy. Versatile array of performances and musicians frequent the place. Not bad but not my cup of tea overall, some damn strange and slightly creepy people visit this place at times and it can get very crowded when a show is on. The owners are nice enough, although whilst not necessarily a negative I should note I can never figure out if Nigel is sincere or trolling us with his mannerisms.

Came in the the first time and watching and listening to a great jazz band named Key Grip. These guys are terrific.
I heard about this place recently.
The boss was on the doorNigel.
The atmosphere is intimate, cozy and this old heart is finally glad I am among persons of my own ilk.

As well as often having fun and interesting gigs, this place has a gorgeous vibe even in the day with cozy nooks inside and a lovely little outside area to take in the sun in good weather while eating a delicious vegan lunch or snack - the pumpkin toastie and the peanut butter drizzle brownie are favorites with me.

Smith's always draws great artists looking for an intimate gig with their fans. Drinks and cakes are affordable and very tasty and the staff always treat you well.
