I eat out very very frequently, and order online at least twice per week. Average spend at least 55 - 60 dollars for phone orders, well over 100 for eat in at dives like this. Well over $450 at better places. Its about the food and the experience, not the money.
The attitudes of phone order staff at THIS eatery, and the attitude of "the boss" are very very poor and "stuff you" attitude. In my line of work in the doctor sector this is just laughable. All I wanted was a chicken schnitzel with a scoop of the Carbonara sauce on the side, on top, thrown at me - did not matter - its just a great combinationand they have the C sauce in a pan.VERY happy to pay for the bother, at least $10-20 or more or whatever they wanted. BUT. Just impossible. Phoned direct and was I was very nice about it, but phone man had Great Attitude (?inversely proportional?) and he checked with "boss" who was out on delivery, and backed him up. Very poor actually. And STUPID. SO stupid. Of course I wont eat or order there ever, and will make sure all my neighbours in the community where I live (not far from the take-away) know about this on the newsletter. How dumb can a business get? No problem for me - I had ordered from the Carrum Smokehouse pizza and Pasta - a WHOLE different experience. That's the second order they got in 2 nites.Will be a regular with them. lol :)
