I purchased a classic steel outdoor umbrella base which rusted badly within months of purchase. The process of returning it and receiving a refund has been less than satisfactory. Extremely poor customer service. from the GM of Shade Australia It makes no sense that they still advertise the base as an outdoor product when it clearly isn't.

Dropped in to get a quote / rough estimate for a shade sail to cover the alfresco area at our new home. As I like to support local businesses and find emails too impersonal and hard to deal with when asking multiple questions, I figured a chat with the sales staff would be best. . Well that was a mistake. No one had any interest in helping me and the lady in the office was quite rude and abrupt. I still wouldn't be able to tell you if their prices are competitive or not or if the quality was up to standard as the consultation never got that far. Not a business I would recommend to any of my friends or family. I won't be going back.
