Since changing hands we have had hit and miss with our orders. Twice we have ordered Red Emporer fish which is more expensive, and we have gotten some other type of fish far less tasty. When we questioned them they said it was probably Snapper which tastes similiar (but actually is $1.00 cheaper). If we wanted Snapper we'd order that and not the more expensive Red Emporer. We've been customers since it started 4 years ago and loved it up to recently. Shame but might have to try elswhere.

By far the best fish and chips I've had in my life. What's going on with these reviews lately? I moved to Erskine late 2016 and tried a couple places in the area. This one serves big, tasty portions of flake and if you order the 6 potato scallops for 4.90$ you can be sure to get double that. Minimum chips (2.20$) also serves family of four easily. Amazing place!

This was the best fish and chip shop in mandurah and in the top 5 i have tried in W.A and i have been a customer for over 3 years. Since the change of hands the food and service has gone down hill. Portions are smaller, prices are same or higher, Chips don't taste fresh, fish is not as good quality and batter is too thick, mushy peas are like pea soup (they didnt make it past the door of the shop).
Needless to say they have lost a few regular customers i know of and i imagine many more.response / report this review -

We loved this fish'n'chips shop. Friendly service, excellent kaimoana and excellent portions. Then it changed hands. Now the quality has gone down the drain. Very greasy fish, chips taste old, mushy peas were inedible.

I live right near mandurah foreshore and its so worth the drive to hallshead for this place. Omg the fish is the best I've ever had in perth and down this way and the value is amazing. Tried the crab sticks and dim sims tonight and the crab sticks are absolutely amazing. I hope this place is here to stay forever. Only thing i could pick on which isn't much is they could easily do with expansion into larger shop.

Always the best quality hate having to go anywhere else. They get so busy but worth the wait ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ wish they opened at lunch times in school holidays.
