The menu at Sault is seasonal, local and innovative. The service is elegant and personal. The food is sensational, you can taste each flavour and the freshness. The menu offers a wide yet select selection. The setting offers a casual yet romantic feel. Overall dining at Sault is a stunning experience. The food and service are outstanding.

A very beautiful place filled with amazing spots for photos.
The restaurant looks absolutely fabulous
It's a shame that we didn't get the chance to dine in here as it was full.

Everything at this restaurant is done well. From making a reservation, through the greeting, service and to the incredible food, we were impressed. The food is 5star quality and beautifully presented. The waiter clearly knew about the food and its preparation and was able to discuss techniques with us. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Amazing place, we were able to eat vegetarian and the food was plate licking good. Perfect place for couples or small groups. Staff were attentive and polite. What you want from a fine dining experience. Thanks for making our night amazing. We definitely will be coming back.

As newly local we have been looking forward to eating here and weren't disappointed. Overall the food was very nice, creative and delicious, but it was the attentive service and ambience of the stone building which set this restaurant apart.

Staff were exceptionally attentive, we had the 3 course degustation and it is very sharply priced. We were so full at the end! Fantastic end to a romantic getaway in Daylesford

A stunning venue , with amazing food and great service . I highly recommend. Being in the wedding industry myself I am hugely impressed by their attention to detail. And friendly staff members , who are happy to help .

We had three course lunch today.
First, the food was fresh and of quality produce. Serving size was excellent. Waiting time between each course was reasonable. Most importantly the food consistently taste great from entree to desert.
Highlight:
Sourdough bread was crunchy on the outside; soft and moist inside.
Entree Octopus; prawn rice.
Main: Wagyu beef; duck breast
Desert: Passionfruit sorbet.
Lavender maccaron was superb.
Second, service was of excellent standard. We were well attended for; accommodated and even had help with our young infant.
Third, beautiful backdrop; nice and cosy environment which was very welcoming.
Lastly, very reasonable price for excellent food, excelent service, and awesome view.
Definitely worth the 2 hour drive and will definitely come back for more.

This is my new favourite restaurant since returning to Australia. Food well presented and delicious, staff attentive and warm. Not rushed with our food, given options with tasting menus..good value.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. I manage a few visits a year and like to buy gift vouchers for friends and loved ones to enjoy. The food is fantastic, the service exceptional, the property and view from the restaurant a perfectly gorgeous setting. One of the best things I like, is I find the seating arrangement intimate. You can enjoy a conversation with whoever is at your table without feeling the entire restaurant is part of the conversation. Highly recommended.
