  Sophie and Nathan from Salt Media were an absolute dream to work with. We are incredibly grateful to them for documenting our wedding day in a way that was true to us and captured the joy and love so accurately. The photos were absolutely stunning, but we are so glad we have the video to bring us back to all of our favourite moments forever. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and videographer you should choose Salt, I promise you that you won’t regret it!!!

  Where do we even start. Nathan and Sophie have been apart of our journey for the past 3 years. From an engagement/ baby announcement photoshoot right up until our wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for a better duo to have capture some of our greatest moments in life. Yes they are pretty EPIC and very TALENTED photographers/ videographers but they are also some of our life long friends now. Let’s start with Sophie the magic women behind the camera. She captures raw, emotional, crisp beautiful photos that you will forever cherish for the rest of your life. Working with Sophie was a dream, as if we had known her since we were 5 years old. The friendship and comfort Sophie brings every time we work with her is just something that really makes a photoshoot easy. Before I met Sophie I was anxious to do a photoshoot, scared I would have these horrible photos that show my nervousness and shyness but I was wrong, there is just something about Soph that makes photoshoots a breeze, plus who doesn’t love getting a million compliments given to you while she’s photographing. Sophie was a dream on our wedding day. She calmed my nerves and it was like she wasn’t even there but I am glad she was there. The photos we have from our wedding, we will forever cherish for the rest of our lives. Now for Nathan, he is just the biggest ball of fun, like a giant teddy bear with so much personality. He brings so much joy and laughter. Our wedding film is like a movie trailer. He captured every single detail of our special day, from my husband getting ready, standing at the end of the aisle, to my grandparents walking through the lavender field and all the little things in between. If I could broadcast our feature film to the whole world I would, but it’s something so special I will always have forever to look back on and remember just how beautiful our wedding day is. He puts so much time and effort into making short films he is seriously so TALENTED!! We love these guys to the moon and back for being such a massive part in our lives and we will always recommend salt media to every single person we know so please don’t hesitate to book them asap!!

  We asked Nathan and Sophie from Salt Media to come along for our Far North Queensland, sweaty, destination wedding and I can honestly say it was one of the smartest decision we made! My partner and I usually shy away from the camera, so Soph and Nath set up a couple of Zoom calls to help us feel more comfortable on the day, which we were so very grateful for. This also meant that every detail was personalised to us as a couple, which we are eternally thankful for. Even in the insane heat and having our ceremony in a pretty hard to reach spot, these guys ran around everywhere and worked tirelessly to capture every beautiful moment on the day. We are completely and utterly obsessed with our photos and videos and could not think of anyone better to have with us on our special day!

  I think deciding on SALT Media for our wedding may be in the top 5 best decisions my partner and I have ever made. There are not enough words to describe how unbelievably amazing they are. Our wedding was in November 2022 and Sophie and Nathan captured it in the best way - there’s just something about their style that emulates the beautiful chaos and all the love and raw moments that make up the day. They delivered us pure magic through our beautiful photos, obsessed is an understatement. And our guests have non-stop been raving about them too.
  
  Sophie and Nathan are so genuine - which is exactly what we wanted for our day. Their kindness made us and everyone else at the wedding feel so comfortable and free to just have fun. They are seriously just lovely people. And of course, they were so prompt with sending us our piccies, communicated with us so much leading up to, during and after our day, spent time time getting to know us, all that!
  
  Our main request for our photo and video style, in short terms was “candid, modern and moody” and we were blown away by our shots and feature film. If you’re after that stunning, not-interfered-with, real, soul-hugging feel for your wedding photography, and also just some wholesome vibes and a couple of awesome friends, then Soph and Nath are your people.

  To review salt media, I first have to describe the person behind the camera, Sophie. Sophie is one of a kind. Not only does she take incredible, soulful, unique and magical photos but she is someone you will meet and instantly become friends with. My whole experience was as if my husband and I had known her forever. Stepped us through everything, made us feel so comfortable and gave us so much support leading up to our day, during our day and even more after our wedding. By the end of the night, I wanted Sophie to continue partying with us as we had so much fun getting our photos with her.
  She was so speedy in giving our sneak peaks and we received our whole album in perfect timing, on our honeymoon.
  The photos wow.
  Words can't describe the talent Sophie has in capturing the moments that you see on the day but you would normally forget. When you view them, you instantly get transported back to the feelings and memories of what was going on at that time. She pieces together your day in a day that showcases what actually happens. I love the photos of when I had no idea she was taking photos. My husband and I often look back at the photos saying "I had no idea she was even there". Capturing so many special moments.
  I could continue writing a review for Sophie forever but this could turn into a novel.
