My best friend and I went for the 4 hour pamper treatment (body scrub, massage, facial, pedicure) as a birthday gift for her. We were both very pleased with the atmosphere - it was very soothing and quiet, throughout the treatment itself the ladies were softspoken and took care to ensure the place was quiet and relaxing. It felt like we were the only ones in the building and in fact I frequently forgot my friend was with me.
The treatments were all very well enjoyed. I particularly liked that my friend, who had noted she has sensitive skin, was checked in on regularly by the staff working with her to ensure she was okay with the products and not uncomfortable. They also frequently asked us if we'd like drinks before we started, if we were between treatments, and after we were done.
It also did not feel rushed - each treatment was thorough and did not leave one feeling like they were just itching to get on with the next.
The only reason I remove one star is because I found that a couple times we were left with nothing said by the staff to sit between treatments. I did not necessarily mind as we did have to have some products left on for a time, but of the few times they left us I can only recall once that they indicated they would be letting us sit. The tables that they use are also not entirely comfortable to be laying on one's back for such a long time as there is not much cushion/support.
Otherwise, we were both really pleased with the experience and thought it was well worth the money.response / report this review -

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now, I see this business come up in “best spa” lists and it’s a bit of a joke. I came here with my partner for a valentine’s day couples massage, and it was terrible. There were long periods of just laying on the table and nothing happening, particularly for my partner. So much so that after we left, he asked if my masseuse left part way through for a break as well. It has become a running joke to squeeze my partners foot once and walk away saying “Sakura day spa!” because that was the extent of his foot massage (this was when his masseuse went on a random break). After the very average massage, we had to request our “complementary bubbles and strawberries”, which they didn’t want to give us because they “didn’t want to open a new bottle”, and they also didn’t have any strawberries. All in all, we ended up sitting awkwardly in a little waiting area, sipping our hard fought for champagne, laughing and confused about what we just experienced. I wouldn’t recommend this spa, ever, and I’m baffled at how it possibly made it onto any “best spa” list…

I booked a 4 hour pack… the ladies where lovely however found I was laying on the table more than being pampered. The facial as a let down. I’ve had better at my local. When the mask was on drying I feel massage on the arms hands feet would have been relaxing and enhanced the experience. Very dissatisfied.

Had the most amazing and relaxing time here, all the workers are extremely kind and great communicators. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere from the second I walked through the door. I’m not a huge fan of massages but I am now! The facial was amazing and so refreshing, all the products felt so light! My skin has never felt better.

I spent an afternoon here celebrating with a friend and we had such a nice experience. The massage was amazing and I left feeling super relaxed and pampered. The little zen room you sit in with a nice cup of green tea before your treatments is an amazing start to get yourself ready for the pampering.

Really disliked the whole experience.
They messed up the original appointment time so I had to reschedule.
The place felt dark and dingy.
When the therapist did the body scrub, I swear it was just massage oil with sand sprinkled on top - not pleasant at all.
Then I was taken to the vichy shower, where I had to lay on my back with my breasts exposed. Honestly I feel like the whole thing will turn up in a video on the internet.

I’ve been lucky enough to receive pamper package gift vouchers to Sakura Day Spa. The spa is relaxing and tranquil, the staff lovely and experienced and overall I’ve loved every minute of the experience.

Peaceful retreat with lovely decor. Soft lighting and music to relax before a gorgeous & professional massage and spa pedi. A truly relaxing experience of being pampered. Highly recommend.

I visited this spa recently and the experience was lovely! The staff were very friendly and clearly experienced. The atmosphere was wonderful. I will most definitely be returning soon.
