This place served us the worse Indian food I have ever eaten as an Indian in my 36 years on this planet. The butter chicken was watery and looked like someone had put water, red color and sugar to make the gravy. The biryani (rice dish with chicken) was by far the worst. It looked like someone just took the horrible sugary butter chicken gravy and mixed it with over cooked sticky low quality rice. There was not a single thing good about the food. I feel the need to let others know so that you don't have to go through a bad meal like we had to while on a vacation in port Douglas.

Just wanted a quick snack so ordered the chicken tikka. It was very dry and tough as if reheated. Also didn't tast real good.

Just had a home delivery of Eggplant Masala, Lamb Jalfrezi, garlic naan and plain rice. Yum! Thank you so much. Not only was it delivered in record time, it was absolutely delicious. We eat Indian quite a lot, and this was impressive. Highly recommend

Sabi is an excellent cook! We went there late at night, thinking it was going to be bad. Oh how I thought wrong. This place is amazing! Spices are spot on, correct amount of ingredients put in, the chicken was tender and correctly cooked.

Amazing food, amazing chef. Do not judge this place by how small it is.

5/5 would fly back to PD just for this!

Totally authentic true Indian flavour food in Sabi's kitchen. Good service and reasonable price, (chef special).we had fish fry and malai tikka , on sizzler platter that's awesome. Goat curry and methi chicken made us too hungry. I recommend to all visitors go to Sabi's kitchen and try the food.

The curries were okay, the vindaloo wasn't spicy but tasted nice and there was too many bones in the goat curry

Omg, the food is delicious and the owners are wonderful! We stumbled on this spot when looking to eat dinner at a later hour, 9pm,much to our dismay, all the kitchens in Port Douglas close. Luckily, these lovely people had buffet style. We ordered our done butter chicken and curry lamb and sat right there and ate. An accommodating spot with delicious food!

1 star, why you ask, well, I clearly and slowly asked what the most spiciest curry he had because he couldn't understand me the first few million times (not over-exaggerated), he told me it was lamb curry, I then asked if people recommended it, and he asked me what I said 12 times! I then said it slowly and tried being more clear then he finally realised what I said and said that they recomend it a lot, I said okay, thank you, can I please make a booking tomorrow, he then started being a coony c.u.n.t towards me and trying to be Marcus Dibble then asked if I wanted boogers and CUUUUUUM with my spicy curry to cool it down! Absolutely ridiculous place to order your food, might as well eat sand than go to this place, you'll find more of an appetite!

We went in late just before closing to order a selection of naan bread and condiments and the lady was more then happy to help. Discount for takeaway was also added. Naan breads were well cooked and tasted amazing, also one of the best mango chutneys I've had. Great place for a good quick feed.
