Just responding to the owner’s reply to a review I left earlier where I explained the service was slow. I understand that there is a staff shortage in port Douglas. However, other restaurants I have been to have been busier and handled just fine.

Also please note for future reference, when a customer leaves you a critical review, it’s not to be intentionally rude; it’s to give you constructive criticism on how to improve and gain more regular customers. Don’t “apologise for your bad experience” but then go on a 300 word rant about how the bad experience is MY fault and not yours. It shows a lack of integrity, professionalism, and overall immaturity on your part.

I provided feedback, I do not deserve a rude response.
Instead of the 2 stars I gave, I’m giving 1 now.

This place is actually pretty good. They often look empty but location isn't helping since you have to walk past another indian place to get here. We've eaten here on several occasions and never walked away disappointed. We've noticed that since they are sometimes quiet, that they don't use many staff which might cause them some problems if they happen to get busy all of a sudden. This place is worth the trip

Absolutely ripper of a place if you want to have Indian food. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala & Daal Makhani with Naan & Basmati Rice. Great to see a rather rare combination of authenticity, ambience & great service.

Amazing food! Service was good, not too overpriced. A great option for a casual meal. Would definitely come back again! (Try the Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic Naan, they go great together!)

Very attentive and kind staff. The food was so delicious!!
We had the yellow dal tadke vale, basmati rice,chilli prawns, and tandoori prawns!
