Description
Rosemont was founded only 20 years ago and since then has gone from strength to strength. With a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck the business has boomed.
In 2012, Rosemont more than doubled it's acreage with the acquisition of Makybe's farm and it's brand new facilities. There was still more to celebrate with Shelford running in the much coveted Golden Slipper and Winchester representing the stud later that year in both the Caulfield Cup and the Melbourne Cup.
There will be many more exciting times ahead with the multiple G1 winner Toorak Toff and his first crop about to debut at the up coming Magic Millions weanling sales.
Starspangledbanner needs no introduction - his win over Denman, So You Think and Manhattan Rain in the 2009 Caulfield Guineas is one of the most memorable races in recent racing history. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoXo5liOrlU
However, hs ability was really put to the test the following year when he raced and won in the biggest and best international sprint, the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Rosemont is thrilled to be standing him at stud and is excited by the quality of the book of mare going to him this season.
