So lucky to get the ticket for the century special!
Wonderful to be on the train and really appreciated all the hard works had been done by the volunteers to keep this train running. Thank you!

Got my whole family of seven sitting together. The whole thing was run extremely well, by volunteers that were absolutely lovely and well mannered. The seating in the carriages was exceptional and there was a stop, before we headed back, for food and an opportunity to stretch your legs. The view was breathtaking.

If you enjoy history and trains then a ride on Pich Richi is a must. We did the Afghan Express and loved it. From Port Augusta to Quorn and return. Great deal and reasonably priced.

Great outing. Remember to take cash to buy refreshments at Woolshed Flats. A step back in time. We loved it.

Really enjoyed the outing About 2 hours there and back with plenty enough time for a picnic at Woolshed Flats.

Would suggest getting there early since no seats are reserved. It's a bit of a struggle to sit together when you are more than 2 people.

Anyone who loves steam engines will love the Pichi Richi Railway. Both the engines and carriages are very well presented and the volunteers who run this are informative and friendly. We were allowed up in the engineers cabin to see the controls and get photos. You will need to book and check which days the steam engine is running or you may be disappointed. The day we took the trip, every seat was taken so I'm happy we did book. My grandkids who travelled with us enjoyed the experience immensely.

Thought it was great when the conductor let me blow the whistle when the train was stopped. 😀🖒🖒
