Had fish and chips here a couple of weeks ago. Huge portion of chips. 2 portions fed 4 people and some left over. Had breakfast the following morning and although adequate it was nothing special. It doubles up as a mini mart as well. If your on the Murray and in the area it is worth a stopover but don't go out of your way to find it.

While it looks a little dishevelled this place does good coffee and cake plus a variety of more substantial meals. Has jetty for boat arrivals. close to public toilets. The staff are chatty and can have a laugh. outside seating is great for taking in the views of the river and passing boats

Went today for my birthday. Sitting outside right on the river, having a cuppa sun poking its head threw the clouds. Chatting with my friend gorgeous. Deb (owner) and staff are great.

I've been going to Pelicans for many years thru many owners. These days they do great fish and chips (when they feel like it) Absolutely awesome burgers (when they feel like it). Tender steak sandwiches (when they feel like it). Give friendly service. (when they feel like it). And they are open til 8pm (or when they feel like it). You can great a great feed here, but your chances are better trying to pick the winner of The Melbourne Cup. It can be done, but you are better off keeping you money in your pocket.

Always a good time when we get there. Food is good for a super casual meal. Easy to tie a boat up at and grab a feed of fish and chips.
