because firstly its cool to support local bookstores, you get 10 cool points. secondly its got the usual suspects of cookbooks and griwn up colouring. BUT, venture out the back and upstairs and into the little side rooms with lots of escoteric and interesting finds that you won't find on Amazon.

buy something for your credibility and coolness.

A big book store conveniently located. Offers a variety of genres. The rooms upstairs also hold a large collection of vinyl records, magazines and comic books.

Paradise Bookshop in Daylesford , according to their sign have fourteen (14) rooms of books, over 50,000 in fact and ask that you leave plenty time for browsing, this I can understand now as a simple request asking if a certain book was to be had was met with a sarcastic and non-helpful staff member who could not even be bothered to look up said book on the computer inventory. I suppose I should be impressed by the fact that this staff member was able to recall all 50,000 books on the premises and know that what I had asked for was not on the premises.
Needless to say I won't be recommending Paradise Bookshop to anyone visiting Daylesford.
