Got quoted more than twice the retail rate for a muffler, over $600for a muffler! Then told there were none in Australia, it's for a falcon, they're only made in Australia! But would supply and fit a sports cat-back system for $700! Probably should have explained that I work in the car industry, and was trying to give local business some support! Got muffler from local dealership for $300 and fitted for an extra $100! Probably tried to put me off because I was trying to get the work done on a Saturday, didn't work! I have 2 other cars that need some custom work, looks like I'll need to find another shop!
