Super friendly staff. Food was amazing, had the duck salad and the morroccan pita bread dish along with the fries. Highly recommended.

The Bookshop Cafe is an excellent place in Berry for coffee and a bite to eat. The indoor area is fresh and welcoming, and the back courtyard is sunny and leafy, and best of all, dog-friendly. Not to mention, the bacon and egg roll is delicious! Definitely worth a visit (or two!)

Bookshop Cafe is just beautiful. We had several meals (& coffees) there over the October long weekend. Great food, great service & wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had a hens weekend in berry and we booked here for lunch. We were turned down by other restaurants for having a big booking (20 girls). We had no problem making a booking here.. The staff are super friendly and we had excellent service! Highly recommend checking this place out :) the food and atmosphere is on point.

Honestly the best cafe in Berry. It has a really cool back courtyard, and the quality of food is exceptional. Always fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Has such a cool vibe !
The owners are amazing, and staff will look after you always !!

Me and my best friend had the most scrumptious poached eggs, bacon and mushrooms breakfast with delicious coffee. The service was prompt and friendly despite the fact that there were a lot of people having breakfast. Fantastic!

Lovely fresh food but the coffee is a bit strong. Court yard is dog friendly.

Can't comment for the food or coffee from this cafe but definitely disappointed in the service of one team member. My boyfriend and I were passing through town and i had to go to the bathroom. I am a type one diabetic struggling with high sugar levels (meaning we had to make frequent toilet stops). We asked a young (kind, very lovely) female staff member if we could please use the bathroom and where it was. Now admittedly we were not going to purchase anything from the cafe, but there was no signage saying the toilet wasn't open to the public, and the young staff member was so willing to help, so we went ahead and I went into the toilet. (I had heard an older team member then telling the young lady to hurry up and get back to work very abruptly which I wasn't impressed with as she seemed to be of some authority). By the time I had come out my boyfriend looked quite bothered and said we needed to leave straight away. An older staff member had followed us and abruptly told him that we needed to be patrons of the cafe to use the toilet. My boyfriend politely offered to buy something and she said we probably should. He explained we were just passing through town and couldn't find a toilet and the younger staff member had kindly told us we could use their toilet.
We are not idiots by any means, we understand that cafe toilets are usually for patrons, but seeing as we couldn't find any we thought we would try our luck. Either way, the staff member was extremely rude and made our experience very uncomfortable. We would have respected that we weren't able to use them if there was signage and if she had the decency to use her manners or express a little bit of kindness and respect. Really disappointing and tainted our thoughts on the lovely town we thought Berry was

Service was excellent, but food was disappointing. Ordered beef pie, which was an awesome attempt at a gourmet pie, but not when it's only warm. Salad looked sad and had no dressing. Salad needs to be refrigerated and not left out to keep freshness. A drip of dressing on top would finish it off.
The back courtyard is lovely, and this place has so much potential. I'll will be back anyways.
