Top notch everthing here. Have been several times in the last 12 months and have been super impressed with everthing. From friendly, engaging staff to great food and beautiful gardens.

Good food but not very impressed with the service. Wait staff were friendly but didn't come over much at all. After ordering mains, and drinks, we had to get up and go to the counter to ask where the bathroom was, get up and go to the counter again to ask about a missing dish and then get up and go to the counter yet again to ask for desert menus. We did try to get the waitress' attention for quite some time before getting up each time. It was a bit annoying and definitely detracted from an otherwise great dining experience. Usually wait staff come over and check on how things are going once in a while. I think this would definitely make this venue better.

Went for dinner on a Friday night with family.
Didn’t realize it’s Friday night drinks outside leaving us as the only people eating (at7pm). So lacked atmosphere, food is ok (it’s not like we are spoiled for choice in the region) but I won’t be back in a hurry especially on a Friday night.
I have had lunch outside on a lovely day. That I recommend.response / report this review -

Warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter this restaurant. Mark and Brook, the owners, are charming. Waiting staff.. all attentive and professional.
The food!!!!! A real treat. Mark, the cook, has the X factor in preparing and presenting tasty and interesting meals sourced mainly from local products. Also, when weather permits,the outdoor courtyard is a real treat, enjoying good food, great wine and the Macedon fresh air! Cannot wait to get back there!! ..AND..you might catch some live music while you are there! The complete package!response / report this review -

Stopped for lunch and decided to share a couple of the entrees and a bottle of wine. Both were magnificent. Definitely worth a stop and try. Really don't know how anyone could rate this restaurant anything but a 5. Service was also brilliant. Great friendly and attentive staff
