We have used Dean Walsh to design and construct several decks for some of our opening and fixed roof customers for the last few years and have not had a complaint. Most client have Merbau decking however the maintenance free is a good option albeit a little dearer. Having been in the home improvement industry for over 30 years in Old and Victoria, we have no hesitation in recommending this company for quality and service. Nothing has been too much trouble

I purchased NexGen decking along with the Deck Cell subframe for my daughters house in Geelong. We selected NexGen decking for its longevity, good looks and nail less installation. We selected Deck Cell as it allowed us to have the decking flush with the ground which we needed to do.

But in buying the NexGen products we also got the impressive support from their Victorian Sales and Technical Manager, Dean Walsh. Dean was fantastic in helping me with the design of the deck - the deck needed to be a curved shape and it also acts as a wheel chair ramp so it curves and ramps up over its length: just a little complicated. Dean also did the calculation on quantities for me – which turned out to be spot on. And he also gave me invaluable suggestions and tips on how to build the deck. I can’t speak highly enough of Dean’s support and would recommend NexGen for no other reason than Dean!! I can’t think of any other place where I could have purchased decking and got support on how to build the deck as well. Great service NexGen

The deck cell was easy to install and is quite stable. I found the decking boards easy to use and cut but, as with any nail less system the fitting of the clips was a little fiddly but resulted in a great looking deck with no joins mid boards and no nails to be seen.
