Description

Mylor CFS responds to many different Emergencies throughout the year from NATURAL DISASTERS (Storm Damage/ Flooding) to FIRES (Vehicle Fires/ Grass Fires/ Bush Fires/ Structure Fires) and VEHICLE ACCIDENTS as well as other emergencies that may threaten the public.

The brigade has two appliances MYLOR 14(Pronounced; One Four) and MYLOR 24(Pronounced; Two Four)

The Mylor CFS currently consists of around 20 active members - Captain, four Lieutenants, four Senior Firefighters, Firefighters and Cadets. We also have a Support Group (or Auxiliary Members). These are people who work in non-operational roles in the areas of Fundraising, Community Awareness and running of the brigade. Without the many hours of effort all these members contribute, the brigade would not function effectively (if at all).
Mylor now have a station which houses both appliances, radio room, training room/kitchen and others.
