We were upgraded to a family room. Incredible amount of space.
Have been used to many Aussie bathrooms not having a vent-fan, but this had classy old-school glass shutters a can of air freshener.
Almost a full kitchen! (no oven, but movable burners, microwave, spacious mini-fridge and counter, kitchen knives, cutting boards
Window screens on bathroom windows very caked with dust/grime, but getting at that can't be easy - it's certainly nowhere near average eye-level. Hopefully a seasonal project, though!
Minor complaints:
1) All but one of the outlets were on the kitchen wall, at the opposite end from the master bed. The other is several feet up and inside the bathroom, which a longish cord will reach, but only if you either unplug it every time the bathroom door's closed or just never close it completely (it's sliding anyway). Also could be rectified if you relocate the dining table & chairs - all beds are on rollers! Only the master is on the heavier side.
2) Air conditioner hums rather loudly - probably enough to keep more sensitive folks awake. In summer, of course, that might be a reasonable trade-off, as long as it keeps doing its job!
Great place to stay overnight on business, Nice and clean rooms, a few beers at the Crown Hotel helps to drown out the road noise too !
