Mirapool lagoon at the time was cut off from the ocean so the water was festy, it was really hot and it stank..midgies were everywhere wasnt the kind of lagoon u would swim much, water was greeny brown and was clear..the walk up from the lagoon to the ocean beach is pretty great..beautiful white sand with heaps of fallen trees and bleached pure white driftwood makes for a special placespent about an hour or so there just walking and playing through the driftwood trees..unique and fun..water was great to swim in

Mirapool is beautiful. On the sand or a quick swim with your friends. But watch out for stingrays!
