Mills wows again.!
Great skipper and crew. Great boat. Friendly and fun clientele even . My daughter's 9th birthday crew made her feel special. Whales didn't want to cooperate skipper worked hard. Later he found a playful few pods and stopped away from them several kept coming again and again within spitting distance skipper announced "sorry folks i think we'll be a bit late home" loved his attitude didn't sweat the small stuff and really casted about giving passengers a good time without bothering the whales and despite seeing whales daily the crew seemed to share the passion off the customers especially when a baby leaped clear off the water near us. SPECTACULAR. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Been whale watching with Mills, I loved it. More to the point I see them a lot around the marina as a boat. Both from my experience going out with them and my experience trying to manoeuvre boats around them I have always been impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the crews. Even when my 5 year old suddenly decided to get seasick INSIDE the cabin before I could get her outside the team were great. I felt comfortable trusting my family in their hands. Good seamanship.

By far my favourite experience in the 8 years I’ve been over here in Australia, absolutely amazing- I took my little ones and they have been talking about the whales ever since.

Used Mills Charters several times now. They know their stuff and go far above and beyond with their service. The crew are professional at what they do but keep it personal to the customer making everyone feel right at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Great service guys.

After a busy year I was happy to get out on the ocean for a day of fishing, from the minute I stepped onto the boat the crew were friendly and knowledgeable.
These guys are experienced fishing charter operators and understand the importance of customer service. From the safety talk all the way through to the whole fishing experience I felt relaxed and really enjoyed my day.
Walking off the boat with my fish was awesome.

I highly recommend these guys for whale watching in Perth! We could not have asked for a more knowledgable crew and they currently have a 100% success rate. Did the whale watching trip today as a family.
Seen whales and dolphin.

Thanks Millshad a good whale watching cruise. We saw a few whales quite close to the the boat and were able to get a good view from the upper deck. Unfortunately we could not hear them as the equipment was under repair. The crew were very friendly and approachable and the weather was excellent. It was intetesting to hear that the best time is usually the first two weeks in October so I'll remember thst for next time.

I had really high expectation on the deep sea fishing trip on the 09/09/17, however things turned out very frustrating. I am not a hard-to-please person, but I really want to be just fair and honest when express my feelings. To start with, I did not catch any fish during the 8 hrs on the sea. I give credits to the crew members as they were friendly.
To state the fact: 10 out of 10 times, my fishing line got tangled with other people's lines, the crew member had to spend most of the time to fix the lines or redo the rigs. This is because the boat carries too many people so not everyone can enjoy the fishing experience - there is just not enough space. I felt like more than half of the actual fishing time (1-2 hrs) was wasted due to crews fixing the tangled lines.
I understand the charter has to make profits to be able to provide continuous service for fishing lovers, so here is my recommendation - reduce the booking numbers by half and maybe do 4 hours instead of 8 ( you may need to find closer spots so it does not take 1.5 hrs to get to the spot, and this way you can do two tours in one day maintaining the same profit but also letting everyone having the expected fishing experience.

Look there was a big mistake made, long story short we did make it on the boat on our booked day. MIlls Charters Crew were friendly and helpful and got us on another day, and that day was the best fishing experience I have ever had. Would recommend again.

Myself and my family of 3 others had a terrible experience with Mills Charters. The weather was clearly awful the morning we left in December. We questioned weather it was too rough to leave the harbour. The young lady who checked us onto the boat raised an eyebrow before saying " the skipper has a plan". Well, the plan was not to get passed Rottnest island for our deep sea fishing (no deep sea fishing to be had there ). The sea was so rough that 5 of the group of about 11 people were so sick they could not fish. We complained to mills charters that the boat fish trip should have been postponed because the ocean was so rough. They offered us another day to fish for free but we could not accept the offer because we were leaving the country to return home shortly after. We asked for our money back instead of which they refused. It was a waste of a days vacation for us, the boat should never have left the harbour. NO DEEP SEA FISHING, MISERABLE MEMORIES!

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Despite only catching a few fish myself (and there being quite a bit of swell - definitely take seasickness tablets even if you don't normally get seasick), it was a really nice day. Breakfast was egg and bacon on a muffin, perfect for a big day. Lunch was pretty basic.

What a top day! The boat was massive and the deck crew had everything we needed with easy reach. Lunch was well sorted and the crew were very helpful with the fish coming on board when needed. Caught some big fish and an enjoyable day on the sea. Good Stuff! and well organized
