Description

The Millicent Library and Gallery are community focussed services supported by Wattle Range Council and supported by an active group of volunteers and Friends of the Library.

JOIN IT’S FREE! Free internet, training, online data bases, wide collection of new and contwmporary books, magazines, paperbacks, newspapers for all ages.

The Millicent Gallery adjoins the Library. SA ’s first “A” Class Gallery outside Metropolitan Adelaide and enjoy local, state, regional and national exhibitions. “Take the time to look, it’s worth a visit and enjoy!” Open library hours and Sunday 2-4pm during exhibitions when advertised.

The Bruce Towers History Room houses an extensive collection of local history resources that are indexed and also available over the Internet including

• Photographic Collections
• Printed materials, books
• Newspaper on Microfilm
• Government records
• Births, Deaths and Marriage Records
• Biographical indexes and much more…….. Call in and explore

Free Internet Service

A suite of computers is available for community use across Wattle Range. If you are unable to use a computer or the Internet then we are happy to assist you! Please call us! Not only are these computers liked to the Internet, they have a wide range of software programs for your use. Access to a suite of online databases is also accessible through here computers and through the Council Website – www.wattlerange.sa.gov.au - Please remember we are here to assist! Community Groups are welcome to book in and use these computers, training is also available. Come and try let us help you surf the net!

Friends of the Library

A group of supporters who assist the library to expand services and facilities, through fundraising, practical assistance in the library and organising special projects. Contact the library for details! New members welcome.
