  So cozy on an sneaky autumn weekend away. Pre-war style with a large relaxing reception room and a cocktail bar where you feel as though you might have wandered into the movie Casablanca. Our bedroom was so quiet and restful with a renovated bathroom but they made the clever decision to keep the old shower system! Continental breakfast kept us going into the afternoon. Pot of tea was spot on. Loved the experience! Thank you Mauro and Anne

  Amazing place to stay, great location, Mauro was so humble , warmly .The place was very clean and fully of Historical. Breakfast was lots choose and delicious. Looking forward to go back !

  The Midland has kept the charm of yesteryear. The lounge room is truly spectacular and a great place to unwind. Mauro was a great host and nothing was too troublesome for him. The location is great as its across the road from the train station and nearby to pubs, restaurants and shops. See you again Mauro.

  Thank you Mauro for a lovely stay at the Midland on Saturday night. You were a wonderful host, our room was great, the bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean and everything was thought of. Breakfast was great as well. Hope to be back soon.
