It's been about 3 months since my shop for a "capsule wardrobe"" with Melissa and I silently thank her every day! No more staring at my wardrobe and thinking I have nothing to wear. In fact, I have lots of options as Melissa showed me a few ways to style each item which creates heaps of different outfit combinations.
I was quite nervous before the one on one consultation but Melissa's personable nature quickly put me at ease. She used a list of questions to accurately identify my style, lifestyle and gaps in my wardrobe- within the space of an hour!
The shop was fun which surprised me as I usually dread shopping. Melissa started by talking me through my body shape and what styles of clothes/ pant rise etc would suit my shape in line with my style and lifestyle. I appreciated her honesty when a colour or size didn't quite work but she was determined to find an item that did. Melissa was so committed to finding the perfect jean fit for me that I tried on at least 10 pairs until the fit was just right! Melissa also talked me through what to look for in terms of fit for future too so I learned a lot along the way.
Melissa suggested a couple of styles and colours that I never thought would suit me and I ended up buying them! There wasn't any pressure to purchase something she had suggested and it was clear she just wanted me to walk away with clothes I love and would wear.
Melissa has checked in with me since the shop to see how I'm going and share some beanie suggestions - this was on my shopping list but as we shopped in March there weren't any around. She also generously responded to a couple of texts I sent asking her opinion about outfits.
The new clothes have given me a confidence boost and taken the daily "what to wear" stress from my life. Thanks so much Melissa!response / report this review -

Melissa is the best stylist I have worked with so far.I loved how we had a meet before the formal shopping for stuff and she had done all the work and I just had to try the outfits. She is extremely honest and patient at the same time.I loved all the outfits and got so many compliments as well. I’m looking forward to working with her in future. Thanks

I recently had a consultation and shopping session with Melissa after being gifted a voucher for Mothers Day. Wow! What a perfect gift. She took the stress and hassle out of shopping for a new wardrobe and managed to pick some great pieces that fit into my ‘personal style’, but suprised me by picking things that I wouldn’t usually choose off the rack for myself. It’s was a great way to refresh my wardrobe and shopping with Melissa felt like shopping with an old friend. Thanks so much Melissa!!

My experience with Melissa was fun,informative and practical.
Melissa's warmth made me feel at ease and comfortable to discuss concerns about choosing clothing that suits body type,age and lifestyle.
I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything.
It is such a great service and is actually cost effective because clothes bought are being worn and can be coordinated with other pieces in wardrobe.
Advice on clothing styles that suit body type and learning what to look for has been extremely useful..

MY MELISSA MURGANA STYLING EXPERIENCE
I guess I was just very lucky to be reached out by an IG algorithm and clic on Melissa’s account… her style captivated me since the beginning and my gut was right: we had an initial 15 min interview in which she understood immediately my needs and my wishes to accomplish with the experience ! -you could also tell by then that she is so passionate about what she does-
After I selected the service I wanted upon very diverse options, we had an interview in which basically she acknowledged my style and helped me put in few words what I wanted to transmit and to achieve while learning how to fit winter clothing (which was a challenge for me -coming from a very tropical country).
Just when we were about to start our in-store shopping experience, something terrible happened to me and she was just an angel who did not hesitate to accomodate her times to suit my healing process.. and that ladies says a lot: to put your human side before even your business interest.. that is something I will always be thankful for (and of course the fabulous pieces that we ended up buying together).
When we finally got the chance we hit the stores, she made me feel so special with the way she conducted the shopping time. It was clearly organised so meticulously that VIP is what comes to my head. It makes you feel that she maximises all opportunities while still having a lovely chat about your life (believe me! it was the definition of RETAIL THERAPY, so don’t hesitate to invest in yourself).
Finally she sent me a look book with the multiple options of outfits that we got (so diligently to mix very price-accesible pieces with some other designer items that were purchased…Melissa is truly a versatile queen)… but the most important thing that I’ve learnt from her is that I am worthy, I can look fabulous everyday, I don’t have to be saving garments for special occasions !!! And I’m doing so !
Thanks Melissa ! It was 10/10 experience ! Keep shining the way you do ! Because sharing so selflessly your knowledge on Ig is a reflection of the lovely woman you are and God/the universe will always give you back !
